We did it!

This year was the first we put up Christmas lights! And by we, of course, I mean Trevor.
Our watching him work really seemed to help though. :) The girls were SOOO excited.

My hard working man!

Grandpa Curtis and Grandma Kathi cleaned out their stash of Christmas lights while preparing for their big move and so we are set for life! Thanks guys!

Such a pretty pink sky that night!

Me and my baby.

Not many of our immediate neighbors had lights, but at the end of our street one house covered their lawn, driveway, and roof with Christmas lights and other lit up airplanes, snow globes, a ferris wheel, etc.
It was awesome!
But Shelby loved ours the best because she got to turn them on at night!

Trevor was a good sport about me saying...could we add another strand here...or here...and maybe here?

 Best Daddy ever!

And one picture with the pink flowers as requested by this girl. She really wanted lights in the backyard too. Ha! Maybe next year or maybe when you are old enough to hang them yourself cutie!

Growing up, Trevor hated helping me put up lights for Christmas and disliked taking them down even more. Things have their way of changing when we have children we want to just make smile while Christmas lights twinkle in their eyes.
