BRRRRRRRR!

December and January were exceptionally cold for California. We were freezing!
We bundled up and only went out when absolutely necessary.

Even though we stayed home as much as possible, we still had lots of fun!
The pictures may not be exciting, but it does show how we filled the last few months!

Cora loves to carry things that are close to her body weight.

That elf stayed there a long time! I really loved my use of the extra branches from our tree above the hutch.

cheeeser!

An easy way to make this toddler happy is to turn the camera around on the phone and let her see herself.

Carl's jr., our winter playground.

What is more fun than dressing up in your Cinderella wedding dress and Mommy's veil?

Another boredom buster was the bed tent that we finally set up for Shelby. It was a birthday present!

Bath time is especially good for this little one's constantly icy feet!

Photo Bomb!

My cute little kittens are still getting use out of their baby towels.

Those buns!

A Christmas gift from our real estate agents. Yum!

zzzzzzzzzz.

Iphone Camera saves the day again!

The following are all from one day!
Probably where I lose my patience most often is when we are trying to get dressed and be somewhere on time. Everything takes longer when you have to take dancing/singing/somersaulting breaks!

Dogpile!

Craziness.

the first hairstyle!

poor ponytail didn't make it out of the bathroom!

Those striped pj's were perfect for pretending to be in jail.

more morning shenanigans

I loved our tree! Trevor LOVED having a real tree, though the shedding still drove him crazy.
I decided on an upside down rainbow of plastic target ornaments. Next year I probably need to use all of the cute ones we've collected over the years. But it was fun to have a simple, plain tree this year.

Some of Shelby's favorite things: the lemons and flowers in our backyard,

New fancy Elmo DVD'S, when you point your phone at the cover using their app, this Elmo graphic pops up and talks to you and you can put in your name.

Also, Dora gymnastics doll and her pink Christmas lights were her "most favorite"

Love the wedding dress, Miss Shelby. Scarlett would love it, too. She loves playing "married."
