back in april, before all the green hills changed to their summer yellow we decided to take a big walk up the hills behind our house. it was quite the hike when pushing a double stroller but worth it. at the top we could see most of our little valley.
they are building homes in a planned development for kb homes up here and these places are going to have some amazing views.
now all they have to do is finish this darned road so that people can actually look at their model homes and so that i can have an easier route to the new target opening in october! the target will literally be 5 minutes from my house. be still my heart!
what's funny about this view is that when you look one way you can see all of the homes of dublin and pleasanton along with shopping centers, office buildings, and the big movie theater.
and then when you turn around and look the other way it feels like you are in ireland somewhere.
here is our development, silvera ranch. on our walks shelby loves to see the cows and horses on the hills around us. it's like a free zoo.
my favorite color will always be green. i love it.
and there's mount diablo. it always looks so big when you see it from lodi!
happy cows do come from california after all.
and over there on top of the hill is the town of san ramon. the alameda county line ends just past our house, as does the pleasanton stake!
lovely.
on our way back down the hill, trevor had some fun with the building supplies.
such a fun daddy!
shelby, i think that might be a little heavy for you.
she said it was a telescope.
