on march 28th after 5 weeks of hibernation, we finally emerged with our hair done and the first matching outfits! it was an exciting day. i was going to take both girls to the grocery store for the first time!the first time shopping alone with 2 kids is a big mommy milestone.
the colors of these outfits were quite wintry so i had to hurry and use them. i remember buying them at nordstrom's in november and trying to imagine what they would look like together!
well, they looked very, very cute!
though my pale girls probably deserve some better colors for their complexions.
i love that shelby is always giving cora kisses, even when she has a cold. :)
sometimes pda is a little much for shelby
clearly by 5 weeks we hadn't quite got the smiling thing down yet.
but cora was a pro at the "mom, you're boring" stare.
at least shelby thinks i'm funny.
maybe she can teach cora.
oh wait look, she did teach her something. she taught cora to use her thumb! okay, not really. once again i have a daughter who hates pacifiers but loves her fingers! already by 5 weeks cora was sucking her thumb.
