it's fun to be the mom because all of the sweet baby gifts are actually for you! we have such thoughtful friends and family and i usually send thank you notes out quickly after receiving gifts. but when the gifts come after the baby is born, the thank you notes take twice as long to get out. so i try to make up for that by sending a little picture of cora wearing/laying on/or next to the gifts.
here, cora is laying on a beautiful blanket made by marianne bird. amazing, i can barely do laundry.
cora loves it! she even did the "fencing" position for the photo. it's a milestone that pediatricians look for, in case you think i'm obsessed with the three musketeers or something. cora was "fencing" on both sides by 1 month! oh and skinny baby legs alert!
my mom's neighbor gave us this cute pink blanket. and all the headbands were made by my friend cassidy. i wish i could make headbands! with two girls it would probably be smart to learn how.

a lady in my mom's ward gave cora a cute ladybug outfit. shelby was thrilled, they are her favorite bug.
also, i've never had my babies wear bibs, i feel like they ruin an outfit. :) but really i'm just lucky because so far i haven't had a spit-up baby so i haven't needed bibs. yet!
