Our country club, Boulder Ridge, had a 2 day kids golf camp but it was for 6 and up. Somehow Trevor convinced them to let Shelby in even though she's only 4! She did great, and they said she was a good putter. I was most excited about the pictures! We took some, and they sent us a bunch from the camp too.
ESPN, we will be ready for you when you need a montage of her early golfing years. :)
She finally got some use out of the golf clubs that Great Grandpa had waiting for her right after she was born! Now she's almost too big for them, but they will be perfect for Cora soon enough.
Proud Daddy. You can't tell, but he was SO excited for her.
By the end of the first day, Shelby already made a best friend, Abby. No joke, this little girl told me, "Shelby is my best friend." So it was pretty fitting that they totally matched on their second day of camp!
We sure love our little golfer! The camp was a success because she had fun and she still liked golf afterwards. :) Get ready for a future of terrible tan lines Shelby!
