december to remember activities

In December we passed on the byu vs. san jose game-too cold! It was crazy how many people we knew at the game though. But it would have been hard to go since as a family we are now Spartan fans! The family is split evenly-Richard, me, Trevor BYU and Dad, Mom, and Brett SJSU! But since Mom was an SJSU cheerleader, Dad was an assistant athletic director, and Brett is a future SJSU golfer-and of course the fact that we live in San Jose, we can't help but cheer for them now! Mom and Dad are on the donor board as well, so we got to sit in the fun box seats with yummy food! Well, not for long, since it was cold and the kids were restless. But the first quarter was fun! And they won the last game of the season, won their bowl game, and had their best season in decades! Yay!

Shelby looks mental, time to go home!

Once a week we meet Shelby's best friend Grace at Carl's Jr. before preschool for some jumping and snacking. It's the happiest place on Earth...that is near my house anyway.

We all loved our tree so much. I bought all plastic ornaments from target, so the girls could rearrange and play with the tree all they wanted!

Grandma Cindy got the girls super fun fisher price Christmas toys, a santa's sleigh and reindeer, and a big nativity that played silent night. They played with them every day and whenever Cora said "baby Jesus" I just about cried.

We were smart and drove through Vasona Park's Fantasy of Lights early this year when it wasn't busy and before they raised the price! The girls wore their pajamas, we ate mint oreos and enjoyed the lights.

As always the dinosaurs won family favorite!

Even though it was cold, our frozen yogurt hit the spot. Pajamas in public. Yay!

The next day we met Grace's family at the Drive-In. It was my first time ever at one! We were there to see Wreck It Ralph, and the parts I saw were really cute, but I was so distracted by cute Cora and most of all by Breaking Dawn Part II playing on the screen next to us.

My little crazy wanted to run around instead of watch either movie.

So fun! I'm excited to see both movies again!

Surprise: red and green chips don't taste as good as chocolate chips!
And I want one of every color bowl please. Christmas shopping at Santana Row was awesome.

One night we walked around to look at the Christmas lights in our neighborhood with our awesome neighbors. Here are Shelby and Rachel with their Christmas cowboy hats on! Whenever they saw lights they really liked they would give it a big Yee Haw! We are really hoping that their family doesn't move to China this summer!

Bedtime for this little cowgirl!
