still hot!

the next day in fresno shelby got to have her best friend kyndal from preschool over to swim! 

kyndal's family had to move to fresno after her dad lost his job. shelby misses her so much. 

since i'm the one mom who doesn't have one of those cool floatie things yet, shelby borrowed cora's float while she was napping! kyndal and shelby actually traded the two floats back and forth. you can tell how good of friends they are because of how well they share.

 i don't have pictures, but trevor got the girls to jump of the diving board in their flotation devices. such brave girls and such a dad thing.

 when cora woke up, i was too lazy to get a swim diaper and just used a regular one! 

i actually love it when they blow up so big in the water!

 shelby was SO sad to have have to say goodbye to her friend. kyndal's sister kloe and cora are close in age too, though cora is a little nervous about their friendship!

there was crying involved in their goodbye. 

the little ones didn't care as much! 

that really was some diaper! 

after they left, cora was ready to say prayers. 

or maybe watch elmo/eat fish crackers/or find tika the kitty. 

but shelby wanted to spend every moment with mocha. 

she also enjoyed exploring grandpa and grandma's yard for special treasures! 

typical kids, playing with rocks and cups! 

i should have tried to get a group picture a little earlier in the day!
