hot lodi days.

 see ya! this driveway is the perfect place for a new driver! 

 

  

 she kept turning around to talk to me and almost running into the fence, until she did run into the fence! luckily both the car and the fence are plastic! i kept secretly turning the speed down but she has a need for speed. her backwards driving skills were pretty good too! mater must have taught her. 

 there are little seatbelts in the car, and shelby refused to move until both she and cora were wearing them. cora LOVED the whole thing, you can see her clapping for joy here. 

after shelby was tired of driving, she parked her ride and wanted to visit the garden.

we picked strawberries and carrots. yum! 

 after lunch, grandma set up a blanket and books outside. it was a perfect summer day. 

 

shelby was thisclose to wearing no clothes (as usual), but instead she decided to throw grass in the air.  

hey cora-your shirt is dirty!  

 that's better! 

 haha! shelby "grassed" you cora!

 silly! 

 sad. 

whenever cora is sad, shelby plays peekaboo with her. 

then everything is better.  

 cheese. she's so well trained. 

 she's 100% sure that this is called a belly button. 

shelby went with me to great grandma's house while cora slept. 

but when we got back, cora was up and having fun with daddy!

 olympic diving, here we come! 

 great grandpa loved watching the grandkids and great grandkids swim! 

 who ever invented the floatie vest thing, bless you. so amazing! who needs swim lessons? 

 so brave. such a trevor thing to get her to jump off the diving board, i would never! 

 cora is very kissable. 

 another driving session and then a little farming was in order. 

 the grapes are coming along great this year!
