this girl sure loves her axel. other than mama and dada, axel was her first word! he's just so soft and also so compliant. what other cat let's a toddler roll all over him?

sometimes we go a little crazy at home.

which is why we love having friends over! there's shelby waiting and watching for olivia and brody.

when we do go out, sometimes it's nice with just me and the girls because we can just take our time. 

like here at costco! shop a little, play alot.

and have some gelato at the end. 

in may shelby was invited to her friend natalie's birthday. getting the hello kitty invitation in the mail was SO exciting for shelby, especially when we read the words bounce house and cupcakes!

during the game portion of the party, natalie's mom let the bounce house deflate so the kids would focus. but natalie's older sister ava convinced shelby to turn on the machine and inflate it again-twice! i asked shelby if she had done it (after we figured out it was her) and innocently she said excitedly, "yes! it was me!" she didn't know she did anything wrong. it was so cute! i had to just laugh. once i told her not to touch it, she stayed away. but the funniest part was overhearing ava tell shelby- "that was awesome, you are so cool shelby!" oh boy. peer pressure from a 6 year old!

cora and i love our time together during preschool. her favorite part is getting to climb around inside the parked car! simple pleasures.

wake up! it's time for church! they miss each other at night and love to hug and kiss in the morning. maybe they should share a room soon! 

during the long Sunday afternoons, shelby and i like to bake things and make a big ol' mess. our favorite last month were these pink lemonade cupcakes! for a box mix and a frosting carton-they were seriously yummy. just the right mix of tart and sweet and pink!

cora loves sharing a gyro with me.

shelby keeps her sleeping beauty phone with her at all times, in case the power rangers need her. i love hearing her answer it-"hello? power rangers? you're in trouble? okay! i'll be right there! i'll get those mean orcs!" she even had to bring it to church one sunday and when she got called up to participate in singing time she gave it to the chorister to hold. too funny. 

making little beds around the house is super fun!

morning walks are quite fabulous in our neighborhood. we have amazing views and a free "zoo" with cows to name and talk to! butterscotch, brownie, buttercup's mom, moo-cow, and on and on. 

as you can see, we just get up and go- no time for doing shelby's hair or anything! sometimes we walk all the way to the park in dublin ranch, but usually my kids are in the pajamas for our walks.

the cows are gone now...it could be our fault. we do eat at innout often!

i've always loved the big windmills on the altamont.

when daddy is with the girls, while i'm getting my hair did or going to the mall solo (heaven). i get to drive his new car! the girls love hanging with their daddy, he took that crazy picture with their crazy-long tongues. they watch phineas and ferb, build legos, and maybe even have a dance party.

preschool target run! one kid is still busy since this little one loves to run.

people were going crazy for this munchkin.

one of our favorite family restaurants in fuddruckers. mmmm. we go there often.

cora loves finding snails outside with her sister. and maybe tasting one every now and then. yuck!

cheese! cora might be a photographer someday. oh and legos are now a permanent part of our decor. i think i'll just design our next house around them.

one of our other favorite family outings is to eat at chipotle and then visit all the animals at petsmart. then cora might do a little cart surfing if she's in the mood!
