my baby and me go everywhere together. since i know that the baby stage goes fast, i am no hurry to have her crawl, walk, teeth, whatever. she's my baby girl, but she is also the second baby, and i feel guilty that i am not taking enough pictures of her! here she is in the first outfit my mom bought for shelby. big baby shelby grew out of it before we got any use, so it was like new for cute cora.

and what do you know? not only do they look like clones, they have some other similarities too!

-late teether

-challenging sleeper

-seems to not need naps

-loves baths and showers

-loves momma most (i am the milk machine after all)

but there are differences:

-cora is growing at a normal, average rate as opposed to shelby's still current 90th percentile rankings. 

-loves big people food! cora hated baby food at first. the first mashed up baby-like food she enjoyed was pizza sauce that i scraped off a piece of my frankie, johnny, and luigi's pizza! since then she has been more open to purees, marinara was a gateway food!

-oh boy, she crawled real early. and yesterday the 17th of October, she pulled herself up in her crib!

-unlike my tv-aholic first child, cora is not interested in baby einsteins at all.

-miss thang only really nurses at night because she's too busy during the day. if there is even the tiniest noise she is distracted and done. 

cora also:

-laughs biggest for her sister, especially when shelby is jumping, dancing, or singing. she loves watching her every move and follows her around. 

-her other favorite thing to do is be held upside down.

-isn't a big fan of books until just this week. suddenly they are super fun and interesting. yay!

-still has a bit of grey in her eyes, they are gorgeous.
