trevor's parents came into town for father's day weekend. it was a blast!
first we went to san francisco, because it's grandpa curtis' favorite place to go.
it was freezing and windy and shelby was glad to have her giants sweatshirt.
you know it was cold if she kept that hood on!
she liked looking at the san francisco aquarium brochure and eating her first trish's mini donuts!
they are the best thing to eat on pier 39. mmmmm.
she could have eaten like 20 of those warm and tiny donuts sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar.
she liked the seals, and she loved the haggen daaz that her daddy shared with her too!
the next day we went to the oakland zoo.
the alligators were actually moving around which was really exciting.
see how excited everyone is?
shelby had an awesome time hanging out with her grandparents and telling them what all of the animals say.
more goats!
two cute blondes.
grandpa curtis is into photography lately and he took lots of cool pictures at the zoo.
everyone had a great time!
on father's day we had a yummy dinner made by trevor. (thanks honey!)
and i finally got around to trying this recipe from pioneer woman for apple dumplings.
it's always a little scary trying a new recipe, but it turned out perfectly. everyone liked it!
i'm going to make it again for 4th of July and i can't wait. yum.
it was an awesome father's day weekend. thanks to the thompsons for visiting us!
