shelby is so creative. it is fun to watch her play. a new favorite game is wearing my shoes around the house. she tries trevor's too but they are just too big.
she brings them all the way downstairs (joy, and all over the rest of the house too) and is so serious about each step.
in her room she loves her stuffed animal corner. so does axel the cat. you can usually find the kitty asleep on elmo. it is also fun to watch her finally figure out how some of her toys are supposed to work. that blue hippo by her feet was a first birthday present for her Day cousins and she plays with it all the time! (thanks christa!)
we still love you big elmo.
shelby turns 18 months in 7 days. but she is still my baby girl and loves loves loves to cuddle with me. sigh. it's the best. when we are hanging out and reading books sometimes she will turn around, give me a hug where she pats her hands on my back and a kiss where she always makes a loud MUAHH sound. she always makes me feel so lucky to be her mom!
cheese! she makes this face when she plays cars with her daddy. they go vroom vroom all over the couches with the little hot wheels cars and she is ecstatic the whole time. trevor has always said that she must to like cars and in fact she totally does!
and her molars are coming in quite nicely too. this is a smile by the way not a yawn or something. our girl is so happy!
