august 14th 2008: here we are after signing the paperwork and becoming homeowners just one day before shelby was born! (one year of the mortgage is now done! hooray!)
august 15th, 2008: wee hours of the morning. here i am ready to go into the hospital to be induced! (which didn't work) look at that smile. i was in such denial.....oh and nobody yet knew baby girl's name. it was so much fun to keep it a secret!
well, by this time it was August 16th, but shelby was born at 11:58 pm August 15th, 2008 via c-section. this is trevor and shelby's first picture! after this was taken trevor rushed back to me and my mom and dad watched over shelby in the nursery. awwwwww.
here she is patiently waiting for me to get out of recovery so that she can eat! the nurses couldn't get over how big her lips were and how beautiful she was... they probably say that to everyone, but she was extra gorgeous.

Great party today! Time flies way too quickly. Enjoy Shelby before she starts talking back to you! ;) FYI.. you look great going to the hospital!
Holy cow - Shelby is already 1 year old?! Wow - time flies! She's definitely a cutie :) I hope you guys are doing well!
P.S. I've never been to IKEA either, but I know someone who did get lost in there for an hour - haha!
