on friday my wonderful mother watched shelby so that trevor and i got go on an awesome date! we went to emeryville because it was the last place still showing the movie UP and i really wanted to see it! of course since pixar is based in emeryville it makes sense that the movie was still playing there. ;) it did not disappoint, because of course pixar can't make a bad movie! but i seriously cried. how can cartoons do that?
trevor and i also got to go to ikea for the first time! i know, i know, we are like the last people on earth to go. it was totally overwhelming. at one point we both thought: we are never going to find our way out!!!! it was like a labyrinth/vegas casino that never ended! trevor vowed never to come back, but i promised him i would never make him put anything together from there so he said maybe he could handle coming back for picture frames, maybe.
while in emeryville we also ate at pizza my heart and a darling cupcake place called teacake bake shop, well trevor didn't eat a cupcake, but i did! cupcakes really aren't very masculine. and of course we got to see the gorgeous oakland temple at night, my favorite! hooray for date night! i love hanging out with my best friend!

i can't believe you had never been to ikea!! i guess it's not that great, but the first time was kind of fun.
