just a starter

we are back from our tropical vacation and guess what? i took over 700 pictures! by the end of the trip EVERYONE was super annoyed and treated me like i was paparazzi invading their space. but, we have an excellently documented trip and to be fair the majority of the pictures are of shelby. here is a very small sample of our 11 day trip: 

at least i didn't have to pack her thumb. it was a great little carry-on.

the boys went scuba diving twice and didn't take any pictures in protest. but here they are after snorkeling. they were so nice to pose for me. :) thanks guys. 

brett took time out to try to teach shelby how to drive the golf carts. she's a pro now. 

grandma and shelby had fun in the sun. check out mom's tan! i am so jealous!

they are quite the models. 

our happy girl! she is getting so big. on this trip she really got the waving bye-bye thing down. she waved to each of us anytime we left the room or the car or the kitchen or the pool.... you get the idea. and i can't get enough!

this is seriously the only way she will allow richard to hold her. isn't that funny? 

she LOVED it when trevor threw her in the air. what was so great about the pool at the house we rented is that it was a salt water pool. having no chlorine was awesome for our hair and eyes and not to mention the smell!

i wore her down though. 

all of shelby's friends had a great time in the pool too! when the pool people came to clean the halfway through the trip they were getting turtles and ducks and monkeys out of the drains. luckily they weren't too annoyed! 

we had an awesome time! thanks mom and dad for an amazing trip!
