2 days into the new year, on this cloudy day, i was putting away laundry while cora napped. shelby and trevor had just left to go run errands and trevor for some reason left the garage open. no big deal. well, the problem was the shark balloon was in the garage. we had put it out there because we didn't know what to do with it really. so i'm upstairs in shelby's room and i look out the window and i see the shark balloon flying to freedom down the row of our townhouses. i wish i had it on video!
i hurried and grabbed the camera and watched as it floated higher and higher.
until it became a tiny speck that kept getting smaller.
i wonder if it floated past an unsuspecting plane! wouldn't that be funny! look out the window and see a shark! so long shark. thank you for solving your own problem.

This is hilarious - the same thing happened to my bro-in-law! He got one of those shark balloons for Christmas - took it out on Christmas day and the wind caught it just right and it floated away! They live relatively close to the airport and he talked about what if someone saw it while they were on the airplane - LOL :) He didn't watch it float away though; he tried to follow and get it back (no such luck though).
