there is always a handkerchief in grandpa's back pocket, sometimes blue, usually red. he'll offer it to you if you're ever in need! i've never seen him without one.

despite all his farming skills, even grandpa couldn't get the lame seeds from the sesame street pack to produce any tomatoes. but at least we got one tiny pumpkin!

cute!

super cute!

the harvesting of this one tiny pumpkin turned into a big deal for this 3 year old.

it's now november 1st and it's still looking good! yay for uncarved pumpkins! it just might decorate our thanksgiving table too.

the girls got out of their pjs and into their summer dresses to enjoy the end of august heat.

sisters in the swing!

cora hearts grandma.
especially when she gets to gnaw on her bracelets.

hey and who needs hair anyway?

maybe i should try the bald look.

what a beautiful, lazy summer morning.

clothes are optional.

grandpa and his white socks. he couldn't be cuter if her tried.

because of the mild summer,
the grape harvest was very late this year.
fyi these are not that great for eating, though they look lovely.
dusty hot wine grapes with seeds anyone?

hi great grandma peggy!

matching great grandma and great granddaughters!
love it! totally unplanned and totally fun!

shelby is holding a bunch of little ladybug decorations that she found inside the pots of grandma's inside plants. every single little frog and turtle and ladybug was gathered from grandma's house and displayed for us. :) great grandma was a good sport about it.

grandma cindy's long driveway is the perfect place to do some bike riding.

just a few months before,
her legs weren't even long enough to really ride!

and now look at her! so big.

so sleepy.

a warm summer breeze, walking with grandma down the country road, ahhh, perfect time for a nap.

my baby girl has some beautiful eyelashes! lucky.

if i would have let her, she be riding her bike on the driveway until next year.

pink toesies! i love that she's a barefoot kinda gal. it's how we do it in the country!
