for a few days she liked sitting in the swing, until i locked her in, and then she was cured real quick.
typical shelby: a train, a t rex, and cinderella's carriage.
rapunzel dolls suck! look at that hair. i made her into a post-magic rapunzel and chopped her hair off.
shelby went through a big rapunzel play phase. out came the frying pan from her play kitchen and she would hold me hostage with it. "you, sit here" and then she would wave the frying pan at me with a menacing face if i moved from the couch. "i'm rapunzel shelby, you are flynn rider mommy." "you can't do laundry, you're flynn rider mommy!" then for the rest of the day she would only answer to "rapunzel shelby."
finding a ladybug in the living room = most exciting thing that happened to shelby all week.
so shelby was looking at her train set and
she ran over and told me, "mom, that looks like you!"
i said "uh, what?" and she repeated, "mom it looks like you! it looks like your tummy!" and honest to goodness, it seriously does! that is what my stretch marks look like!!! so very sad. my girls were worth it. they are my battle scars!
