summer has been fun for shelby, because all she needs to have fun is a baby pool full of water! yay!

right when we were about to get in though, the sprinklers turned on and for whatever reason 

they made shelby a bit nervous.

see mom? that's a sprinkler. it's scary.

run! they'll get you!

that's as close as she'd get. 

maybe someday she will learn about the joys of running through sprinklers.

then she spent an hour making footprints on the paving stones. oh to be 2.

i love this green blanket. it's soft, it's my favorite color, and it also looks just like my mom's shag carpeting from her teenage bedroom! i remember it because her room at my grandparent's house was still sporting the 70's green look when i was little!

i love my little 4 month old and her cute little toesies.
