even at the end of may this year, we were still enjoying very cool weather and rain. i loved that we got great use out of shelby's winter clothes, especially her beloved ugg boots.
another benefit of the cold weather was that i had an excuse to stay inside with my cute kids as i was slowly adjusting to having 2 instead of 1!
and because we were inside, shelby became extremely creative! i think here she was a horse.

one of shelby's favorite inside toys is axel the cat.
seriously he is the greatest cat in the whole world. so low maintenance. and he has never hissed at us during his entire life- almost 6 years!
what cat would let a 2 year old drag him around and never ever get even one claw out?
a cat that loves attention no matter how he gets it! that's who!
i promise that he is not hissing here. he was actually just making a rather pathetic cry, because even axel has limits.
he escaped just in time. but where's the baby in all of this madness?
sleeping peacefully in her swing! this was on may 24th, so she is just over 3 months here and sucking on her thumb. that would change soon!
oh boy do i love those yellow and pink pajamas. carter's has my whole heart. if i didn't love baby fashion so much i would only have her wear sleepers because there is nothing better than holding a baby in soft clothes.
