today is july 18th.
cora is 5 months old.
and, today trevor's brother trent would have been 27 years old.

trent was killed in a car accident while on the way back to high school after lunch. it was the end of his senior year (april 2003). his mission papers were on the stake president's desk and he was getting ready for prom. and he was so handsome! just look at that kid!
trevor and trent were best friends of course.
here they are back in 2001 when trevor got home from his mission in taiwan. they are so cute!
shelby and cora would have loved their uncle trent so much.
everyone has told me that kids just adored him.
i so wish i could have met him.
i love having brothers and it would have been awesome to have another one!

looking at it makes me want to enjoy every single moment with my girls and my husband.
i sure wish i was blogging pictures of his 27th birthday party instead of this. my heart goes out to my husband and my in-laws on this tough day, one of many all year long.

This was such a sweet tribute to honor Trent's birthday today. Your thoughtfulness helped to make this day easier to bear. The pictures and comments were amazing and it warmed our hearts. Trent would have loved you and your girls so much. Thank you also for being such a wonderful wife to Trevor and such a terrific mom to Shelby and Cora.
