all the decorations are stored and the new things are organized, but my poor 2 year old is still asking to watch rudolph the red nose reindeer! (yes, she does say the whole title.) she loved this movie and during one particularly busy day we watched it 3 times! yikes. have you watched it in a while? it's a little weird, okay maybe a lot weird. at first she was terrified of the snow monster and now she likes him. i got the official movie ornaments for the tree after Christmas because this year will always remind me of that movie. earlier today she asked me to draw a snow monster, an elf, and rudolph. i haven't stored the dvds because i don't mind if we keep things a little Christmas-y but daddy said no more! he can only take so much. oh and storing the decorations was also pretty traumatic for her, she didn't want to say goodbye! so now i need some valentine's day things, asap. luckily, her cousins got her strawberry shortcake movies, books, and a doll for Christmas and she is now officially obsessed with that too. maybe that will help ease the rudolph cravings! update: trevor just said she has been asking for strawberry shortcake pretty often today, so maybe we are on the road to recovery. when i was 2 my mom said i loved strawberry shortcake, so it all makes sense. :) oh and happy new year!
