our new addition

so just as the 110 degree weather hit, my tahoe's air conditioning decided to give out completely. in fact a few things on that 2002 model were starting to give out. we had talked about a new car for a while but the air condititioning gave us an immediate reason to get one. so that's what trevor did! i had told him exactly what i wanted in a car, and he picked it out for me and surprised me with it! he walks in the house and throws me a set of honda keys and goes surprise! wow! i was so excited and so happy that i didn't even have to step into a car dealership. i hate looking at cars. it makes me want to take a nap and/or hurt someone. luckily trevor picked out the perfect car. we love it!

and here's an example of what we left behind. RIP 2002  blue tahoe. you were a great car. my parents got it for me during the summer after my freshman year at BYU. it replaced my 99 tahoe. the BYU blue tahoe took us back and forth to utah for school each year, took alot of wedding gifts back to college after we got married, drove us all the way to florida after graduation, and brought our baby girl home from the hospital. thanks tahoe.

but it was time for better and slightly smaller things.

not that it's a small car. it seats 8 and is very roomy. i love all the new features too. i have been wanting xm radio so bad!

i love all the pictures of it on the honda website. many of them were in our color. i love the color trevor chose, it's the same as my first tahoe that i got when i was 16! the dark grey is really good about hiding dirt which is essential because i never ever wash my car.

oh and it looks good in the rain too, though it will be a while before our car gets to experience that! i love our new car! i am trying to make the new car smell last as long as possible!
