backyard summer fun

 i forgot to post these pics from last month when richard came to visit! it was so fun. sometimes we miss our lodi backyard and the pool. but, i am usually very glad my parents don't have a pool here because i would  be worried about shelby constantly. luckily, we are all able to entertain ourselves pretty well in the little yard we have here in pleasanton. especially with a toddler that puts the energizer bunny to shame!

shelby loved playing with her uncle

he was impressed with her kicking skills.

but sometimes

uncles knock the ball right out of your hands!

shelby was happy to have someone else to look at bugs with. she loves bugs.

and she loves chalk.

daddy took a spin on uncle brett's bike, and shelby showed us all just how buff she is.

she's saying Pull!!!! in this one.

eventually she said please enough times to get a ride.

she was so happy.

she's always happy

especially when fun uncle richard is around

shelby is so lucky to have such a great uncle. he is so good with her.

look at that hair. no amount of hairspray has ever tamed it.

she really wanted a ride from brett

but you can't have everything you want! luckily she loves to play the chase game.

she finished her day with a short round of golf. it's in her blood!
