our anniversary

i have been married to this guy for 5 years! i am so lucky.

he is so cute. and he is a great dad too.

i especially like his freckles!

 i will always be grateful that we got married there in the temple because we get to be together forever! 

what a fun day it was, especially with my sweet friends. i miss them all!

trevor and i are so glad we got married while still in college and got to have all of our friends together before we all spread out across the country. 

5 years sure sounds like a long time! basically to us it means 2 college degrees, 3 states, 3 apartments and 1 house, 4 wards, 1 baby, and 3 cars for trevor. i am still in the same car! trevor is still a picky eater and i am still a messy person. but he vacuums and i do dishes. we still stay up way late and love taking naps on sunday. i still think baseball is boring and trevor still doesn't like to dance but we easily agreed on the name of our first child, and together we have gotten really good at changing diapers and teaching animal sounds to shelby. we love watching tv together and he likes to watch the hills with me and i like to watch deadliest catch with him. he makes me so happy!

 

to celebrate our 5th year, we watched our wedding video, looked at all of our wedding pictures, made ourselves a steak dinner, and played with our darling daughter. we also had a near disaster with crayons and our wedding photo album. back on the shelf it went! and my mom and dad sent us a delicious edible arrangement with a cute pineapple 5 and happy anniversary balloons! it was so exciting!

the white and dark chocolate covered bananas were my favorite and trevor's were the dark chocolate covered strawberries. when shelby saw it she just kept saying WOW! over and over again. it was total shelby food. she couldn't get enough of it! it was such a fun surprise. we had an awesome anniversary at home and i look forward to many more awesome years of being married to my best friend!
