california winters

when i look outside and see sun, i think it will be warm.

whatever mom, it's brrrr freezing!

but, we have alot of energy on our hands so sometimes we have to go outside, cold or not!

she has to feel the wind in her hair after all.

and on a side note, shelby is crazy, unbelievably, completely obsessed with this video: ELMO'S DUCKS

if she sees a computer she starts saying "quack, quack, quack" and making the quacking motion with her hands until we watch the video. we were at a friend's house and she slipped away and i found her sitting at their desk looking at their computer and quacking at me. she woke up crying in the middle of the night last week (teething 4 molars at the same time will do that to you) she looked at me at 4 am and started quacking. no we were NOT watching the video at 4am. but we are watching it this very moment. she sits on my lap and watches it while i blog or whatever. show your kids this video at your own risk! oh and btw the other video we watch all the time is this one because it's grandma cindy's favorite:  feist on sesame street and in case you are interested, my favorite is this one: Adam Sandler on sesame street. okay, that's all.
