on december 8th mom and dad celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary! congrats! aren't they such a cute couple? we ate a family dinner together to celebrate their awesome milestone. ready for their 1979 wedding pictures?!!!
awwww. here they are, it was a Christmas-y wedding with red, green, and plaid ribbon. very pretty. they were married at the methodist church in lodi where my mother's parents were married. on their honeymoon they wrote a list of goals and one of them was to find a church. they joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in 1981 and were sealed in the Oakland temple (where trevor and i were married) for time and all eternity in 1982 when my mom was pregnant with me! ;)
check out the wedding party! i really like the bridesmaid dresses. i've actually seen my cousin mimi's (she kept it!) and it still looks cute. great job mom! her wedding invitations had green envelopes, green like those dresses. and i carried on the tradition with bright green envelopes for my wedding too. my mom said that it makes them pop in the mail. so true mom. also, she and i both had stephanotis flowers with pearls in the center in our bouquets. and we both married amazing guys who refused to do receiving lines.
their reception was at the woodbridge country club and i'm sure that cake was chocolate and yummy! they are so darling and so in love now more than ever. thanks mom and dad for such an awesome example of love, marriage, and commitment! i love you!
