the cake

so, i picked out a princess cake because i thought having a toy would make the traditional one year old cake attack much more enticing.

i was right! but really, she is a sugar loving girl and the frosting was reason enough to dig in!

aurora (sleeping beauty-my fave disney princess) was very fun to dip in frosting, eat, and repeat!

mmmmmmmm. sugar coma! i also gave her a chocolate cupcake since she had never tasted chocolate before. she liked it, but she didn't show a particular preference.

you see why i just had her go topless.

i took one for the team and got her out of the high chair. it was so fun and very slimy!

the duck pond came in very handy for clean up!

on a side note: THANK YOU to my dad for cleaning that high chair! it's as clean as when we bought it! any time there's a party it is definitely my dad you want helping afterwards! he is the meticulous master of clean-up!
