fast firsts

sometimes shelby's tricks just seem to show up out of nowhere! she is growing up so fast. 

kind of like those cute and crooked bottom teeth:

here she is clapping, for herself. she loves to climb in the basket and play. too bad she can't seem to figure out how to get out! it's pretty funny. 

just an fyi. this video is long and is aimed at grandparents.

she loves to play/eat/hang/watch tv/watch me blog/and just chill in her high chair. lunch today consisted of blueberries, ham, string cheese, sweet potatoes, and water that she poured all over. i know eventually the mess will get old, but it's still funny and cute to me. and she really started waving bye bye this week. yay! the video totally showcases shelby's other new major thing which is: pointing. she points at whoever she wants to hold her or pick her up. it is like a cuteness trap, once she points at you-immediately you melt and must do whatever she wants. it's like magic.
