good times

for my bday we hung out at my favorite store, anthropologie. i have loved it for 10 years and it never lets me down. and they even have baby stuff, so now i am just waiting for groceries and toilet paper.


for dinner we had teppanyaki-style japanese food in monterey. so yummy. *bonus* they give you a box of pretty chopsticks and play insanely loud drums when it is your birthday. shelby enjoyed it all very much, especially the onion "volcano" of fire.

i loved getting my first mom birthday card, and shelby was very helpful with the candles. thanks for the cake, mom, and those candles were very cool. (the flames were the colors of the rainbow. how do they think of these things?)
